Auckland Mechanics' Institute. THE annual general meeting of the members of this Institute, will be ht-ld in the Hall, on Monday evening, the 2nd of February, at halfpast seven o'clock, when the Annual Report will he read, and the elee i«n of officers for the ensuing year will take place. The attention of members is called to the mode of the nomination of officers, as contained in No. 10. of the rules. "Any duly qualified member of tbf Institute, shall alone be eligible for election t-»fill the offices of President vice President, Treasurer and Secretary j such parties to be nominated by a notice hung up in a conspicuous part of the Institute, at least ten day's before the general meeting of members convened for such election." Notices of nomination will require to be posted on or before, the 23rd instant.
