fpilE pultlir are re»p<>efully informed that a J *- Fancy Bazaar will be hold in the Odd Fellow's I Ja.ll, on the Ist of August next, in aid of the Patriotic Fund, now collecting for the relief of the Widows and Orphans of our brave fellow countrymen, who have fallen or may yot fall iu the present war with Hussia. Contributions iu Needlework and in Fancy Goods of every description, as well as confectionary of all kinds, aud such refreshments as will suit the occasion, will be thankfully received by any of the Ladiu's of the Committee. It is earnestly hoped that all in this community, whose hearts have been stirred by the accounts which have been received of the pr vations and endurance aud noble daring of our brave soldiers and sailors, and all who sympathise with the many thousands of bleeding hearts in our native country, will give what help they can to forward the objects of this Bazaar. It may be well to lemind the public that if it were not for the assistance afforded by the Patrioiic Fuud, very many widows aud faimli"s of our brave soldiers and sailors, who have fallen in the war. would now be suffering 11 from actual j want, in addition to their other sorrows, or \\ ould jbe thejnimites of a work house.
