Bye Law No. 1 — No person shall for hire or in expectation of reward, ply any boat for the conveyance of passengers within the harbour of A ucklaud, unh ss he s-hall be thereunto duly Licensed by the Committee of the Auckland Harbour Commisbioncrs. No. 3 — without such License penalty not exceeding £5. No 4 — No person Licensed as aforesaid shall ply any Boat for the purpose aforesaid within such Harbour unless such boat shall have "been approved by the said Committee as being safe and fit for such purpose, and unless their shall be painted in some conspicuous part of such boat in legible letters not less than one inch in length the name of such person, the number of his License and the highest number of passeugcrs which the said Committee shall have authoi'ized him to «onvey in such Boat.
