Tenders for Fencing.

rpENDERS are invited for erecting about -*- Three Miles of Fencing at Papakura. Thero is abundance of growing timber on the ground, and the parties contracting will be required to fall the timber, and prepare the necessary fencing. VTINETY FATHOMS of Firewood, hav- ■^ ing been stolen from the Warau, on the Kawakawa river, belonging to E. H. Cook, of Russell. Any person who may give such information as may lead to the conviction of the thief, shall receive TEN POUNDS Reward by applying to E. H. Cook,

TEN POUNDS REWARD.

NOTICE is hereby given, that late on Thursday night, or early on Friday morning 24th June last, some person did wilfully and maliciously destroy the Water on the premises of E. H. Cook of Russell, by throwing filth into the well, in order to render the said water unfit for business purposes. Any one who will discover the perpetrator of the aforesaid offence so that he, or she, may be brought to punishment shall receive the above Reward. Russell August 4th, 1853.

FIFTY POUNDS REWARD.

WHEREAS the Premises of E. H. Cook and the Victoria Hotel, at Russell Bay of Islands, were destroyed by fire on the 25th July, 1852, and as there is just ground to believe that the aforesaid Premises were wilfully set on fire, notice is hereby given that any perr-on who will give such information in the Resident Magistrate's Court, either at Auckland or Russell, as may lead to the conviction of the offender or offenders shall receive the above Reward on application to E. H. Cook, of Russell.

TWENTY POUNDS REWARD.

SOME person having on the evening of the 7th July, maliciously posted playcards on the premises of Mr. Cook, of Russell, for the purpose of insulting and annoying him. Any person who can give such information relative to the affair, as will lead to conviction of the aforesaid party, shall receive the above reward on application to E. Cook of Russell.

NOTICE. FOUND, in a Paddock belonging to J. Waitb, a black and white POLEY COW, with CALF by her side, -newlycalved. The owner can have her on application on the ground, situated by the road side between the town and Messrs. Low and Motion's Mill.
