The "Bandicoot," Captaiu Carrsway, cleared out (as was stated in our last) from Hobart Town for San Francisco. On arriving at Honolulu, the Captain, fioding his cargo unusable for the Califorrnan market, wisely determined on returning with it, touching at Tahiti and several of the Islands on the paaioge. Her Cargo is to be sold here by auction, after which the "Bandicoot" will proceed to Hobart Town. Van Diemen's J^and Markets. Oats, from Is. 4d. to Is. 6d. Barley, 3s.— Examiner. Sales of Cattle and Sheep.— Messrs. towes and Macmichael sold by public auction, on the 13th November, ex 'River Chief and 'Spy,' 150 sheep at 4s. 6d. eBch. The cattle realised from £5 17s. 6d. 'to .£6 5s. per head. On the 14th, 60 lambs fetched <4e. fid. each ; and on the 15th, ex 'J/ady Denison,' ,(rom Adelaide, 168 eheep, acid for 9a. 9d. each, and 125 at 10a. each.— "H. T. Advertiser." " The following properties were recently sold by auction at Hobart Town : — The MiUbrook Estate, '441 acres on the Lachlan Rivulet, near New Norjfolli, with homestead, hop-kilns, and cooling rooms, £1200. The Rosny Estate, 663 acres of superior land at Kangaroo Point, formerly the seat of |Mr. Justice Montagu, and the smelting works reicently erected there, for .£1,800.
