AUCTION SALES. WOOLLEN DRAPERY, TWEEDS, BUCK & DOE SKINS, TAILORS' TRIMMINGS, &c. MART if SON Have received instructions from Messrs. Cunningham, Tailors and Drapers, who are leaving the colony, to offer for sale, i without the least reserve, on Monday, the 17th December, instant, on the Premises, in Shortland-street,— THE WHOLE OF THEIR STOCK, IN-TRADE, consisting of Broad Cloths, Kerseymeres, Tweeds, Buck and i D,oe Skins, Drills, Moleskins, aed a variety of Articles. To Farmers, Cattle Owners and Others, OERIOUS disappointments having o frequently arisen to persons having small numbers of Cattle for Sale, by reason of their not proving (in consequence of being few in number) sufficiently attractive to induce buyers to attend such Sales, it is thought desirable for the interests of the public, that some fixed day or days in each month should be had for the Sale of Cattle, Farming Stock, Implements of Husbandry, &c. At such Sales buyers would find it desirable to attend, and remunerating prices would be obtained for Stock brought to the; hammer. HART & SON will, therefore, hold a Sale on the Ist and 3rd Saturday in each m.onih, in, the yard of the Grey-= houpd Inn, Queen-st., for the disposal by Auction of Horned Cattle, Sheep, Farming Stock. Implements of Husbandry, and Heal Estate. Due notice will be given of the first Sale which will take place this month, Persons intending to avail themselves of these Sales, are requested to communicate with the Auctioneers, at their Rooms. HORSES. HART & SON will hold a Sale, at the Exchange Livery and Commission Stables, Shortland-street, for the dis- j posal of Horses by Auction, on the first and third Monday in each month. Horses intended for Sale, will be stabled at a reduced rate, and every care taken of them. It is scarcely necessary for the Auctioneers to point out to the buyer the important advantages which such Sales offer, and the great convenience of being able at all times to ascertain what Horse Stock is in the market for disposal — while, at the same time, it enables the seller to obtain a fair price for his Horses. Due notice will be given of the first Sale, which will take place shortly. Persons having Horses for Sale, are requested to communicate with the Auctioneers, at their Rooms, where a Register will also be kept of Horses intended for Sale by private contract. BEE HIVE. SELL ING OFF! Great Sacrifice. TJLACKMAN & PATON announce to -*■* the Public that as they intend relinquishing the business in a few weeks, they have determined to clear out the whole of their large Stock at less than the cost price.
