I -iirtv 'T'HE fine new clipper schooner, M®^ A "GBEY'S DELIGHT," JsHg& 50 tons burthen, will sail in all September, and is intended as a regular Packet from Auckland to California, She will be manned by a crew of New Zealanders, as there will be no fear of their running away at California, after the warning given to them in the Maori Messenger of June 21st. ? She will be able to carry each trip abotrt 50 of the " scum" &i Auckland and its vicinity (see the Maori Messenger of June 21st.) and after the *« scum" are ail gone, she will then be v ready to take auy Government Officers out of place, as well as superannuated Clerks of the different public Offices of Auckland, for whom it is anticipated there will be little need s> few months hence. Early application is necessary, as many passengers are already engaged, and in spite of the assertion in the Maori Messenger, that California is- a slave country, intending passengers are assured that they need be uncler no apprehension of being taken and sold iov slaves- on their arrival !
