Passengers, Miss ' Jackson, Caplain Bliss, Mr. New, and Mr. Evren.— J. Macky, agent. The barque Sir Edward Pasr«t, 482 tons, Barclay, from London, having left the Downs on the lllh of February, arrived at Sydney on the 25th ult. The barque Brightman, Captain Cowley, from Nelson the sth, arrived at Sydney on the 25th May. The shij) Wisrams, 26 tons, Parfett, cleared out at Sydney for Nelson on the 2Gth ult. The ship Kelso, 567 tons, Roxburgh, cleared out at Sydney, on the 2GOi ult., for Port Nicholson via Twofold B-y. The bir Edwaid Paget has made a quick passage of l ( 3 days from the Downs. £>he is the Post Office Packet for February, and brings an unusually large wail, consisting 15750 letters, & 3020 newspapers. The only vessel spoken by her on the passage con- ; iieuted with the colonies, was tne barque Elora, off the Cape de Verde Ulands on the Ist March, from London the 12 th February , bound for New Zealand. ; Captain Barclay states, that a vessel from Sydney arrived in the Downs prior to his departure, having made the passage in 96 dayr. The mails forwarded from Sydney, via China, by the Marmion, Blair, Asia, and Essex, in September last, arrived in London during the end of January. lI. M. steamer Acheron, Capt, Stokes, sailed from Portsmouth fni Madeira, the Cape of Good Hope, Sydney, and New Zealand, about the 17 h January. The £ phinbtoue, 425 tons, Tillman, Bailed from the Downs lo.i Sydney on the Ist, and the Thetis from Plymouth, vri'h emigmiits, on the 3rd February. The Canton, 506 tons Fnend, left Gravesena on the lbt Febiuar'y. The Equestrian was to leave Gravcsend nbout the 18th, nnd Plymouth 25'h February, with emigrants for Sydney. The Prince of Wales had been taken off the berth for Sydney, and in her piece the Waratah, 433 tons, Voluua, had been iaid on to sail about the 15th February. The Seringa-r-atam, 358 tons. Lovelt, and the Lima, 340 tons, Yule, were both loading for Sydney, and would sail about the 20th Febiuary. 'Jhs Lydford sailed from Deal for Liuuceston on the 31st Jannary. Ihe Gratitude, 271 tons, Smith, entered outwards for Adelaide on the 29th January. The ship John Dalton was to sail from Liverpool for Sydney on the 20th of February ; and the Snbraon for Port Phillip about the same time. —The llavannah, 20, Captain Herrinpham, fitting at Sbeerness for New Zealand, has been getting together her ship's company vesy fast ; she has 130 of her complement of 230. and bid fair to be ready for «ea at the appointed time, Febr. 26. — H. M. S. Inconstant, 36 guns, sailed from Plymouth to Rio de Janeiro and New Zealand, on the 20th January.
