CODLIN, BEGS respectfully to inform the Inhabitants of Auckland and its vicinity, that he has this day re-opened his old established Tea and Grocery Store, in High-street, having just returned from Sydney with a new Stock of Goods selected by himself, expressly for this Market ; he hopes to meet with a share of that patronage formerly so liberally awarded while under the firm of Hadlow and Co., and which in future by strict attention to business, and low prices, he hopes to deserve ; it is needless to enumerate the articles with prices ; suffice it to say, that a large assortment of the best Goods will always be found on hand, and offered at such prices as will induce those who call once at the old Store, to become regular customers. For the information of country settlers, it would be best to name a few of the Goods on hand. Sugars, raw and refined, Black Tea, finest quality, Green ditto, ditto, Coffee ditto, Raisins and Currants, Dried Apples, and Sugar Candy, Bottled Fruits and Pickles, Mustard and Sauces, Curry Powder and Cayenne, Mould and Dip Candles, Ginger and Spices of all kinds, j Vinegar — Starch, and Blue, j Blue and yellow wove Post, j Foolscap Paper, , A large assortment of Tin -ware, com- ! prising every article that is useful, ! Milk-pans and Dishes, the best and cheapest ever offered in Auckland, and A variety of other Articles, all of which will be offered at very low prices. High-street, June 17, 1848.
