The schooner Harlequin; 62 tons, Chinnery, from Port Nicholson the 23rd March, arrived at Sydney ■on the 16th April. The schooner Wanderer, 131 *onß, Croston, from Hobart Town the llth, — and the brig Diana, 103 tons, from Port Phillip the 13th, arrived at Sydney on the 17th April. The Calypso, brig, ICS tons, Captain Lown, from Port Nicholson, arrived at Sydney on the 18th April. The schooner Munford, 109 tons, Hayle, from Mauritius 29tli January, and Hobart Town 12th April, arrived at Sydney on the 19th ultimo. • The drip Qfedway, G5B tons, Coombes, from Adc laide 13th ultimo, arrived at Sydney on the 20th of April. • The brig City of Sydney, Jennings, from Launc«ston ibe 18th ult., — and the schooner Minerva. 110 tons, Roserear, from Adelaide the llth, and Portland the 15th, arrived at Sydney on the 21st of April. The schooner Thetis, 94 tons, Collins, from Port Phillip the 18th, arrived at Sydney on the 21st ult. The schooner John Pirie, M'Veigh, from Port ■Phillip the 18th, arrived at Sydney on the 2 1st April. The Bee, brig, 134 tons, Captain Adams, from Cloudy Bay, New Zealand, arrived at Sydney on the 20th April. Dewar, sailed from Sydney for the South Sea Islands on <the 20th April, in ballast. The Am. barque Pacific, 314 tonß, Capt. Alden, 'for the South Sea fishery. The French MiSiionary ship Arche d' Alliance, 312 tons, Marceau, left Sydney for the South Sea 'Islands on the 20th of April. — Passengers, Rev. Messrs. The ship John Wichliffe, from London, had arrived at the new settltement of Otago (New Zt&Hnd) with 29 cabin and 25 fore cabin passengers, and 60 immigrants. — The PTiillip Loing was daily expected at Wellington with 20 cabin passengers and 200 immigrants from the Clyde. — S. Herald. The sbip Thomas Arbuthnot, from Sydney for London the 29th August, was at Rio Janeiro on the 10'h November. The schooner Sarah Wilson has become a total wreck at Newcastle, by running on the reef at Nobby's.
Hobaut Town Markets. April 7. — Wheat rules at 4s. 7d. to 4s. Bd., a considerable purchase having been made by one of our millers at the latter quotation. Flour remains at ;£l2 per ton. and bread at 3d., the best, 21b. loaf. Potatoes £<L 10s. to £b 10s. per ton. Butter, retail, Is. 6d. per lb. — Hobart Town Courier.
