NEW APPOINTMENTS.

We hear from good authority that tho heads of the various Departments in the Naval, Military, Medical, Ordnance, Artillery and Engineer Service, now located in the adjacent colonies, are to bo removed to New Zealand. Among the first of theso wo may expect the Commander-in- Chief of tho Forces, Major-General Pitt, and who, it is supposed, will superccde Sir Maurice O'Connell. Along with Major-General Pitt may be expected Colonel Bolton of tho Engineer Department, who had ordors to sail by last advices from England. It is rumoured that Deputy Commissary General Ramsay may soon bo expected I from Sydney.
