CRETNAY Begs to inform his Friends and the Public, that he has been instructed to sell by Auction at his Mart, Queen-street, on Thursday next, 18 January, 1844, — HPWO very valuable Suburban Building •*• and Garden Allotments, situate upon the Manakau Road, close to the residence of F. Whitaker, Esq., and having the advantages of abutting upon the Bridle Road leading to Judge's Bay and the Estates of His Honor the Chief Justice and the Attorney General ; they are only one minute's walk from Mechanic's Bay, but much more advantageously situated, commanding a delightful view of the Harbour and the Town. Every day some of the neighbouring Allotments are being taken up as VILLA RESIDENCES By the Gentry of Auckland ; and o there can be no doubt but that in a few months every inch of these and the surrounding Allotments will be so much in demand as very much to increase their value. Both Allotments have 23 feet frontage with a depth of 100 feet. Lot No. 1 has a frontage to two Roads. Lot No. 2, has upon it a neat weatherboarded Cottage 16 feet by 12, with brick chimney, six pannel doors, and many conveniences. Both Allotments are securely fenced. — Terms at Sale. BROWN §• CAMPBELL Have received instruction to offer for Sale by Auction, on Saturday, the 20th January, at 12 o'clock, THE Effects of Mr. Ashworth, who is leaving the Colony, consisting of Household Furniture, Carpenters and Joiners Tools, Grates, Tent, Turning Lathe, Land Surveyor's Drawing Table, Boards, Materials, Squares, &c, a few Architectural and other Books, Maps and Drawings and Sketches of Auckland, Engravings and Prints, some in frames ; — Wearing Apparel, &c, &c. — After which, A CORNER ALLOTMENT IN HIGH STREET, AND HOUSE ERECTED THEREON, substantially built, containing 3 Rooms and a Loft with a window. The House may be divided into two separate tenements, or occupied as one. It has a garden fenced in, and is wholly detached from all other buildings.
