NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
We have to ackpow'edge the receipt of some Bremen newspapers, Vsndly serit to us by J. Waitfird, Esq.. The letter of B. Moner, has been received, but we can see no goed result from publishing it. We hvre to return oar thanks to Mr. Chapman for his remarks upon '-' An Overland Journey from Auck land to Port.Nicbo.lson," published in the first number of thjs .paper. Mr. Chapman will perceive that the object of the writer of that journey, was more to jnake 4cnown the virtues of the Roturua spring*, than to minutely describe the country tUtpugh which he travelled. The letter of " Equality'* is ntnusing ; hut it wcu)d be uncourteous to add/ess the party in the first instance, through a newspaper, la this land of religious equality, we wish, to avoid the appearance of giving any undue advantage to one sect over another. This letter might lead to a religious discussion or quarrel. We are anxiqus to avoid both'. We leave things of this k'pd. to be settled by, prjests and parsons-
