; ;< NOTICE. 1 T HEREBY give Notice that I Lave •*- entered a Caveat in England for socuring a Patent in Great Britain and the Colonies, for a Process and Invention for obtaining, separating and cleansing the fibres of the New Zealand plant called Plwrnnum Tenax, so as to render it available for all the purposes to which European Hemp and Flax are applied. Being desirous to conduce to the future" prosperity of the Colony, and not wishing to monopolize a process, 'or withhold from the Settlers at large information and means which most certainly will render the cultivation and preparation of the Flax Plant the most profitable and richest resource of New Zealand ; Licenses for the Process will be granted, and machines sold, on liboral and moderate terms.
