Field For Debutant Stakes

The first Iwo-year-oJd race of the new season in the Wellington provincial district will be the Debutant .Stakes run on Hie first" "day of the Wanganui Joekey Club’s spring meeting on Saturday. The distance is four furlongs un<l a half, and there is a tiehl of 20. Several of the candidates are WelJ-brcd youngsters related lo successful performers, and much Interest will he taken in their initial appearance on Hie turf.
