The stare are Joan Fontaine, Arturo de Cordova, Basil Rathbone and Cecil Kellaway. “Between Two Women” (De Luxe). —A romantic war between a blonde showgirl and a red-headed playgirl. The cause is Van Johnson.
“Hangover Square” (State). —A mystery claiming to outshock all shockers. Starring Laird Cregar, Linda Darnell and George Sanders. “Winged Victory” (Kings).— I’limed from a Broadway stage hit. Starring Jeanne Crain, Edmund O’Brien, Don Taylor and a host of others. “Across the Pacific” (Paramount).— Described as a Jap-slapping story sensation. Humphrey Bogart heads the cast. “Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo” (Majestic). —A glamorized version of Captain Ted Lawson’s . best selling story ot the Doolittle raid on Japan. Spencer Tracy, Van Johnson, Phyllis Thaxter and Robert Walker star. “Having Wonderful Crime” (Tudor).— Starring Pat O’Brien and Carole Landis. A murder mystery.
