NAVY LEAGUE SEA CADET CORPS

The Navy League Cadet Corps was inaugurated by the Navy League some 50 years ago. for the purpose of promoting the moral, social and physical training of boys, to inculcate in them habits of discipline and loyalty, to promote ideals 1 of self-sacrifice and service. and to help those boys who wish to make at sea their life’s work, and to achieve their ambition. In England there are now 400 units of the corps, and flourishing units have been e.stablislied in Canada. Australia. South Africa. Southern Rhodesia and New Zealand. The units at present established in New Zealand are at Christchurch. Dunedin. Wellington, and Auckland. AH boys between the ages of 14 and lb, who wi«h to join, may apply for enrolment at the City Mission Unll. 103 Taranaki Street. Wellington, on Fridays, at i p.m.
