The Wellington Repertory Theatre will present Oscar Wilde’s brilliant comedy '"file Importance of Being Earnest" at the Technical College hall on Tuesday as a special VE production. All cash takings will lie given to patriotic purposes, and special features wilt be arranged for opening night- The costumes and scenery are said to be lavish and the cast includes, Ina Allan, Coralle Smytlison, Jean Mackay. .Mary-Annette Burgess, Peter and Ted Harcourt, It. S. Allwright, G. O. Cooper and W. F. C. Balliam. The producer is -Mr. W. S. Watichop, who achieved an outstanding success with this play in 1930. The box plans are now open at the D.I.C.
