LONDON, June 22
The Italian Premier, Signor Parri, believes Italy should be a republic, said the Vice-Premier, Signor Neiini, to members of the Provincial Socialist Union in Rome. He urged support for Signor Parri, and said there was firm agreement on the republican issue.
Angered by light sentences passed on Fascists in north Italy, crowds killed 35 persons and wounded 18, says the Milan, correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain. Some of the wounded were so badly injured that they died. Dlost of the Fascists attacked were taken from the jails at Ferrara and Dlodena. Street demonstrations demanding bread and work and a severer purge of Fascists are growing in Dillan and other cities in north Italy. Intervention by Allied tanks early this week prevented the development of a serious situation iu a suburb of Milan, where 10,000 Fascists are concentrated,
