PURSUANT to the provisions of the Dogs Registration Act, 1908, and the Dogs Registration Emergency Regulations, IJ4(No. 2), NOTICE IS HEREBY GUVEN that the Dog Tax for the year 1945 in the City, of Wellington has been fixed at 10/- per •Jeg, provided (fi) that In the case of dogs kept solely for tha purpose of destroying rabbits, the fee is reduced to 2/6 per dog, and (2) that the fee to be paid by any shepherd, drover or farmer, exercising his statutory right to register any number of dogs not exceeding three, kept solely for the purpose of herding or driving sheep or cattle, at a less fee, shall be for each such dog a fee of 2/C. This tax is due and payable to the Registrar of Dogs, Rates Office, Town Hall. Wellington, as from the Ist March, 1910, in the case of dogs previously registered and as from the 15th March, 1945, in the case of dogs which would ordinarily have been required to be registered for the first time in the months of January or February, 1945. NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that a fee of 1/in respect of each dog registered will be payable for the supply of the approved remedy for the prevention of Hydatid Disease as provided by"the Dogs Registration (Prevention of Hydatid Disease) Regulations, 1938, and their amendments.
