The final of the open singles championship at the Dominion croquet tourney resulted: C. La Roche (Wanganui) heat Mrs. Kibblewhite (Hamilton), 18-26, 26-23. 26-12. La Roche was last year’s runnerup. Championship Doubles. —La Roche (Wanganui) and Mrs. L. Wood (Northern) heat Mesdames Margison and Smith (Auckland). 26-10. Women’s Championship.—Miss Wainwright (Hamilton) beat Mrs. Gilbert (Nelson). 26-3, 26-2. ~ .... In the women's championships Miss Wainwright played a perfect game making two all-round breaks and presenting a first-class exhibition. The following trophies have been won to date Men’s championship. Hartnell’s Cup, C. Bryan: runner-up, 0. La Roche. Level singles. Whittaker Cup. A. J. Heenan: runner-up, H. G. Mills. Handicap singles, B group, A. J. Heenan; runnerup. Mrs. Wainwright. Section Play-off.—A group: La Roche beat Mrs. Margison, 26-22.
