GERMAN OFFICER LOSSES
(Received October 19, 10 p.m.) LONDON, October 19. Berlin radio says German field marshals reporting to the Fuehrer stated that 50,000 German officers, including 138 generals, have been killed in the. war. The nows agency reports that the German Major-General Count Nogislav volt Schwerin has been killed in the Tartu sector.
