Woman Discovered Dead (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) 7 CHRISTCHURCH. October 10. Miss Margaret Hilda Redmayne, aged about 60, of 64 Ranfurly Street, St. Albans, was found dead when a fireman of the Christchurch Central Fire Brigade entered a burning room at her home about 6 o’clock this evening. She was lying on the floor beside n tabic where she had apparently been ironing. The'iron had burned through the table and set fire to the carpet and the flames were spreading to the wall hangings, lue fire was extinguished without difficulty and it was found that parts of the ironing blanket had fallen on Miss Ledmayne, burning an arm and leg. It is believed that she collapsed while ironing. Boarders who stayed with her were not home when the fire occurred.
