People waiting for trams at a Willis Street stop yesterday, witnessed what might have been a fatal accident. A sailor hesitatingly attempted to board a (tram but missed his footing and fell backwards, his head missing the tram’s wheels by a few inches. He was assisted to his feet noue the worse for his adventure.
