WAR ASSETS BOARD
The Minister of Defence. Mr. Jones, stated yesterday that he wished to correct a statement he had given to the Press (published in “The Dominion” vosterday) that Brigadier IT. E. Avery. C.M.G.; C.8.E., . D. 5.0.. bad been appointed chairman of the War Assets Realization Board. His appointment on the board, said Mr. Jones, was that of general manager, the position of chairman being hold by the Minister of Finance. Mr. Nash.
