United Fire Boards’ Association The following oflieers of the New Zealand Fire Boards’ Association for the ensuing year were elected at the conference in Wellington yesterday : — President. Mr. T. M. Charters (Christchurch) ; vice-president, Mr. W. J. Gaudin (Wellington) ; executive, Messrs. A. E. Mansford and C. V. Day (Palmerston North), S. S. Dean (Wellington). C. L. Green (Auckland). A. Sharp (Invercargill). W. H. Hall (Timarn). and D. S. N. McCartney (Wellington); emergency committee. Messrs. S. S. Dean. W. J. Gaudin. T. M. Charters. C. V. Day and D. S. McCartney: secretary-treasurer, Mr. H. L. Cooper.
