Extensive reference library, with separate commercial and technical department for engineering, business, trades, etc.: New Zealand and tine arts section. Lending and children’s libraries. Zoo. Newtown Park: Open 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Lions, tigers, monkeys, cnmels and deer: 1500 birds. Admission free to children under 15. Otari Open Air Plant Museum, one mile from Wadeslown tram terminus. Open continuously. Typical Now Zealand bush and native plants under natural conditions; complete collection of plants native to New Zealand: burial ground of Dr. Cockayne, famous New Zealand botanist. Admission free.
