Terms Of Three Members Expire Today The seven-year terms of appointment of three members of the Legislative Council will expire today. They are the Leader of the Council the Hon. D. Wilson, Wellington, the Hon J. K. Archer, Christchurch, and the Hon. J. E. Duncan, Wharepuhunga. They were appointed to the Council on September 22, 1937. Mr. Wilson left New Zealand in April fo assume the post of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Canada. He returned several weeks la>ei because of the serious illness of h:,s wife, who subsequently died. No appointment has so far been announced of a successor to Mr. Wilson as Lender of the Council.
