R.A.F. bombers undertook one of their longest missions of the war last night when Koenisberg, capital of East Prussia, which is 900 miles from London, and 100 miles from the Russian front, was included among targets. Details of the raid so far state that the bombing was highly concentrated. Other targets were Keil, Berlin and Hamburg. Over 1700 tons of high explosive and incendiary bombs were rained down on Kiel. From all these operations 29 of our. aircraft are missing.
