ADAMS.—On August 19, 1944, at Blenheim, Isabella Rose, widow of the late William Adams, of Langley Dale; aged 94 years.
ANDERSON.—On August 26,1944 (suddenly) at Lowry Bay, Frederick Harold Anderson, 46a Devon'Streel. Wellington, beloved brother of Eileen, Edgar, Victor, Bruce, and Jim; aged 51 years. Returned soldier.
CUNNINGHAM.—On August 27, 1944, at the Hutt Hospital, Elizabeth Cunningham, of No. 5 Waitaki Street North, Lower Hutt, beloved mother, of Mesdames Webster, McCre, Sutcliffe, Brown and Handley, aged 64 years. R.I.P. JONES.—On August 26, 1944, at Wellington Hospital, Walter Charles dearlybeloved only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Jones. 11 Bauchop Road, Lower Hutt; aged eight years and nine mouths. A patient sufferer at rest.
MONTEITH.—On August 26, 1944, at Wanganui, Ann Hunter, widow of the late Robert Monteith, daughter of the late John and Jean Palmer, Waipukurau, and mother of Mrs. A. V. Whyman, Wanganui, and J. H. Monteith. Lower Hutt; in her 86th year. OLIVER.—On August 26, 1944, at Dannevirke, Helen Kate, daughter of the late Charles William Cowter, of Kuhuta, Wanganui. Private interment. PRICE.—On August 27, 1944 (suddenly), at his residence Sinclair Street, Upper Hutt, Charles, beloved husband of Alice Price, and father of Winifred Russell; aged 71 years.
PRIEST.—On August 27, 1944, at Wellington, Margaret, dearly beloved wife of George Priest, 100 Tory Street; aged 32 years. R.I.P. (Floral tributes, violets as requested.)
WHITE.—On August 26, 1944 at the Tararua Private Hospital, Pahiatua, Arthur Watts, the beloved husband of Ida Elizabeth White, of King Street, Pahiatua; aged 64 years.
