Mr. C. Aleachen has been appointed convener of a suh-coinniittee of the Wellington Hospital Board to form an entertainment committee. At present little is done in the way of entertaining patients in the various hospitals under the direction of the board, and Mr.. Mencben has conceived the idea of forming a committee. which will take in hand the task of orirnniziiiir small concerts and gay little vaudeville onlerfaimnenfs that will cheer the suffering in their enforced retirement. Air. Aleachen is receiving plenty of encouragement, and hopes to have a definite plan of action in the near future.
