Contract With Britain
A statement that though negotiations had arrived at an advanced stage an agreement had not yet been entered into was made by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, in referring yesterday to comments by Mr. Doidge, Opposition M.P. for Tauranga, concerning the terms of the contract -between Britain and NeAv Zealand for the purchase of this country’s primary produce. The Prime Minister added that an announcement would be made as soon' as practicable after the agreement,had been completed.
