Sir, — Beef is Avnnted for overseas, also for Ncaa- Zealand. Fcav, if any, of the oldest of ns, cun remember a winter in Avhich there has been such an abundance of cattle feed. Yet in nearly wery advertisement of fat stock sales, prime vealers are included in the list for sale to butchers. 'There is no doubt that the killing of vealers and half-grown cattle should be stopped for the present. Such cattle should be alloAved to mature and augment the meat: supply.—l am, etc., MORE BEEF.
