MEN TO RESUME

Westfield Beef Workers (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 14. A decision to accept the Government’s offer of a tribunal and to resume work tomorrow was made by the beef shac’klers at the Westfield freezing works today. Meetings of workers have been held during the past few days. ’When the men begin work tomorrow, the beef slaughtering floor will have been idle for 15 consecutive working days since the dispute developed on the deniiiml of the sliaeklers for increased wages for working in the knocking pit. On May 30 the staffs, of all departments of the works were idle following ,-i meeting when the issues were discussed between the men and the management. After turther discussion all hands, except SO to 100 beef workers. resumixL
