Vice-Regal. • Government House, Wellington, June 14. This morning his Excellency the Gov-ernor-General presided at a meeting ot the Executive Council. Later his Excellency presided at a mooting of the National Patriotic l 4 und Board. Mr. P. Elworthy returned to Christchurch from Wellington last night. Mr. H. J. Farrant, Invercargill, is visiting Wellington and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. Justice Blair is in Auckland presiding over the sittings of (lie Supreme Court. Mr. A. P. O’Shea, secretary of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, left Wellington for Christchurch yesterday. Mr.- Frederick Burley, governing director of Berlei, Ltd., who is now in Wellington, will leave Auckland for Sydney during the coming weekend. Mr. S. Osmond, secretary of the A.M.I’. Society. Sydney, who is on, a business visit to New Zealand, lias arrived in Wellington from Auckland.
