CLUBROOM WANTED
Karitanc Nurses Meet
Karitaim nurses stationed in Wellington are hoping to re-form a local branch of the Karitanc Nurses’ Association, which lapsed iu those war days when emergency precaution measures were being formed. At a representative and enthusiastic meeting on Tuesday night preliminary discussions took place, and it was decided to bold another meeting iu the near future, when officers will be elected and activities arranged. The nurses decided that it would be an advantage to have their own clubroom, as many of them aro strangers to Wellington and have nowhere to go on days off duty. Here they eould meet their friends and enjoy comfortable relaxation, specially on cold winter days. The meeting agreed that representatives should investigate the possibility of obtaining a suitable room. When the branch is established, progress on educational as well as social lines is expected, and it is hoped to arrange lectures as a beginning.
