Prospects are favourable for the Manawatu Racing Club’s winter meeting which will be held at Awapuui today. The division of the Ruahine Hack Handicap into two separate races has made an eight race card, and except iu the open hurdles and the steeplechase the fields are of good size. Park Light will run in the Second Ruahine Handicap and oxcatclier in the Rongotea Handicap.
