SUCCESSFUL YEAR

Wellington Horticultural Society A successful year, despite difficulties, was reviewed at the annual meeting of the Wellington Horticultural Society by the president, Mrs. Kuox Gilmer. Mr. V. C. Davies, New Plymouth, gave an address on shrubs suitable for M ellington. He dealt with some 3o kinds, including recently introduced varieties which he considered would grow well in Wellington and surrounding districts.The following officers were elected: — President, Mrs. Knox Gilmer; secretary and treasurer.
