PLANES DESTROY MUCH ENEMY TRANSPORT

Allied warships have again bombarded targets north of the Anzio beach-head with effective results, states the Allied headquarters. , , , “Medium bombers yesterday struck numerous blows at railways in north-west and central Italy. Fighter-bombers continued the offensive against motor and rail traffic, concentrating their efforts over Velletri and adjacent areas. Again thev destroy ed a large number of motorvehicles.
