LABOUR CANDIDATE FOR HOSPITAL BOARD. ALEXANDER w. CROSKERY MR. A. W. CROSKERY was a prominent member of the Hospital Board for some rears, being chairman of the house and staff committees. He is a powerful advocate of modern hospitalization. Born and educated in Wellington, he has given long and valuable service to./he shop assistants of ffiis native city. JANET SAVEGE has had long experience in the work of the Labour Movement starting In Scotland, where she was engaged in war (textile) production during 1914-18. She has held secretarial positions in the Wellington South and Northland branches, and is an executive member of the Women’s Branch. Her war work has been mainly in Patriotic and E.P.S. activity. In his younger days was well travelled overseas through his connexion with boxing and other sports. For many years Mr. Napier has taken a very prominent interest in Waterside Workers’ organizations, in which he holds secretarial and executive positions. As a student of economics and industrial questions, and a keen debater, he has a wonderful understanding of the problems affecting the waterfront and harbour administration. VOTE FULL LABOUR TICKET.
