MASTERTON WEDDING
Perrott—Williams The-marriage was celebrated on May 9 at St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton, of May, fourth daughter of Mr.s and Mrs. D. E. Williams. Masterton, to Flying Officer George Perrott, only son of Mr. and Mrs, J. J. Perrott. St. Albans, Christchurch. The bride’s gown was of ivory silk velvet and lace, her tulle veil was mounted on a halo of stiffened lace and her bridal flowers were white. She was attended by her two sisters, Maude .and Frances, who wore picture frocks of violet georgette, and two small nieces, SusanAnne and Beverley Bayliss, in replicas of the older maids’ frocks with linings of pink. The sisters carried sheaf bouquets in tonings of pink and violet, and the small girls held Victorian posies. The bridegroom was attended by fellow Air Force officers. Squadron Leader S. Quill, best man, and Flying Officer Jack Baragwan&th. The bride’s mother wore a gown of black georgette aud lace with a pink shoulder-spray. The bridegroom’s mother wore a black silk velvet frock with a shoulder-spray to tone. Assisting Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Perrott at the reception were the bride’s two elder sisters, Mrs. R. L. Bayliss and Mrs. S. J. Falloou.
