FOUR GENERATIONS CELEBRATE

Mrs. R. Banks, sen., Anderson’s Line, Carterton. who celebrated her ninetieth birthdav on May 18, was born at M akcfield. Nelson. A daughter of the late Mr. Isaac Baigent, she has lived in Cartertoll for more than 45 years. A gathering of relatives was held at her residence to mark the occasion, all her children being present, as well as her I? grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Toasts were proposed by her sou. grandson and great-grandson. Mrs. Banks enjoys the best of health and is able to walk without assistance. She takes a keen interest in present-day affairs.
