RATIONING EASED A further relaxation of Australian newsprint rationing for daily, Sunday and weekly newspapers was announced todav bv the Minister of Customs, Senator Keane. From June 1. newspapers enn consume newsprint equal to their allocation for the quarter ended September 30. 1943. plus 224 per cent, brom April 1, an increase of 12 per cent, was made in the quantity of newsprint allocated to newspapers.
