Postings For Middle East, India And Ceylon LETTERS, PAPERS AND PARCELS The loss of mails for the Middle East. India and Ceylon was announced last evening by the Postmaster-General, Mr. Webb. The lost mails were as follows: —■ For New Zealand Forces in the Middle East: 22 bags of letters, consisting of postings made throughout New Zealand during the first 10 days of February; 1087 bags of parcels and 229 bags of newspapers, consisting of postings made during the latter part of January ami early in February in northern districts of the North Island (Auckland. Hamilton and Thames postal districts), and during the same period in the South Island (with the exception of Nelson and Blenheim postal districts). There were no parcels or newspapers posted in the Wellington. Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki. Blenheim and Nelson districts in the dispatch. For India and Ceylon: 34 bags of letters. newspapers and parcels, consisting of postings made in the Wellington. Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay districts and the whole of the South Island during eatly February.
