Mr G. A. Watt, assistant stationmaster,' Wellington, has retired after completing 40 years’ service in the Railways Department. He has been succeeded by Mr. F, J, Temin. Ou Mr. Lees retirement. from the position of 1 arliameu.nry Under-Secretary, Mr. Temm was attached to the head office of the Housing Department. Air. Temm has taken an active interest in service affairs, and was Chairman of the Auckland branch of the Railway Officers’ Institute, and for some lime wiis chairman of the executive committee of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Publie Administration.
