He is a Fellow of lhe Royal College of Organists and bolds the diploma of L.R.A.M. and A.R.C.M. (London) for the teaching of singing. In Dunedin lie was recognized as one of the foremost teachers. Before arriving in New Zealand 15 years ago. Mr. Blair held several important posts in Edinburgh, and was organist of Toornk Presbyterian Church. Melbourne, for 18 months. He has composed several songs, saered and secular, and piano pieces.
