(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, May 5. Falling from an aircraft as it was passing over Wanganui this afternoon, a smoke bomb weighing about 151 b. narrowly missed a dwelling, 23 Argyle Street, Aramoho, occupied by Mr. O. E. Perrson, and almost buried itself in the ground. Neighbours who heard the bomb falling subsequently saw heavy smoke rising and the fire brigade was called out. The bomb smoked for a considerable time, but was dealt with by the use of a bucket pump.
