GREEK LEADERS’ POLICY
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 4. 'Hie Greek Minister of Marine. Mr. Venizelos, broadcasting from Cairo, said that the Greek Government’s attempts to bring about a more general understanding to include parties and the guerrilla and other national organizations had borne no fruits so far, owing to difficulties in coming to an understanding at a distance. ~ , _. _ r Meanwhile, he said, the E.A.M. organization had by itself constituted a political committee of five members, and this committee had approached the Government asking for its co-operation. He considered that so long as all of them set their aim to the liberation of Greece, it would be unforgivable if they did not come to an understanding.. [Following upon the resignation of the Prime Minister, M. Tsouderos, this week, M. Venizelos has been requested to form a new Greek Cabinet.]
