ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, February 24. Charged with the attempted murder of Godfrey Neville Green, farm manager, at Pori, 20 miles from Pahiatua, on January 17, William Robert Alfred Hollis, aged 61, appeared on remand before Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrates’ Court, Pahiatua, today. The charge was a sequel to a shooting affray at Pori on January 17.
Evidence for the prosecution was given by Green, his wife, Bessie M. Green, her daughter, Audrey Lorraine Green, and several police witnesses. Hollis, who pleaded not guilty, was committed for trial at the Supreme Court, JfJqrtJi, on MasLl-
