Pass Almost Cleared
(Received February 23, 7 p.m.) LONDON, February 22. Continuing to disperse the Japanese force on the Arakan front, the Britisn have recaptured high ground overlooking the western section of Ngakyedauk Pass, states a South-east Asia communique, and the remainder of the pass has been almost entirely cleared of the eilemv. Tanks and carriers are mopping up the Japanese in tbe Seventh Indian. Division area. Heavy Allied air force activity con tinues throughout Burma.
